Sizing Information
How to Measure:
1. Chest measurement: taken with a deep breath, arms held out at shoulder height.
2. Waist measurement: taken at the natural waistline.
3. Hip measurement: taken around the fullest part of the buttocks.
4. Torso measurement: taken from the center of the shoulder, down the front, through the crotch, and up the back to the starting point.
5. Inseam measurement: the length of the leg from the crotch to one inch above the floor. Measure in stocking feet.
6. Bicep measurement: taken at center of bicep.
7. Arm measurement: shoulder to wrist.
8. Wrist
9. Skirt length....only necessary for dance skirts - taken from the hip bone to desired length.
These chart measurements are the center point for our sizing, as our garments are made with four way stretch fabric, your measurements do not have to be exact to those on the chart to have a good fit. If your measurements are what is shown on the chart, you will have growing room as the fabric will stretch to accommodate a larger body. If you want more growing room you could go up to the next size but your garment will most likely have wrinkling. If you like a snug fit you could stay in the closest smaller size. If you find that the measurements you need are quite different than any size range on the chart you may want to order custom sizing.
Custom Sizing: is available on Catalogue dresses for an additional charge of $10.00, these styles would then be made to measure for you. I highly recommend that you choose this option if you don't fall into the standard sizing in order to have a comfortable garment. |
